Shri Amarendra is a director-general (DG) of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and was the former secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.
He belongs to 1981 Batch of Indian Foreign Service. And did his graduation from Delhi University in 1978. He has worked in different capacities in key divisions including finance, administration, northern division and Latin America Division while working at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. He has also served in the Ministry of Commerce &Industry, Planning Commission and Ministry of Industry.
During his diplomatic career, he has held Trade and Economic positions in various Indian Missions including Madrid, Mexico City, Karachi, Moscow and New York.
He was a dean at the Foreign Service Institute in the year 2016. And also served as Ambassador of India to Argentina and concurrently to Uruguay and Paraguay from 2012 to December 2015. And as Ambassador of India to Cote D’ Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and concurrently as Ambassador to Guinea and Liberia. He was also a High Commissioner to Sierra Leone for the period 2005-2007.
He has been appointed as special envoy in the year 2012 to South Sudan and Sudan to broker peace between the two countries.
Shri Amarendra Ji has a special interest in Odia poetry. He began to write poetry decades before he ventured into diplomacy. He has more than 15 publications in Odia, English, Hindi and Telugu to his credit. In addition to this, his poetry has been translated in all major Indian languages and in Spanish and Russian.

Ms. Karuna Gopal, is an Internationally acclaimed Thought Leader, Advisor on Smart Cities, Governance & Policy. She is the Founder President of Foundation for Futuristic Cities, a think tank that has influenced Urban Transformation in India for over a decade.
Governments of USA, Sweden, South Korea, UK, Philippines, Malaysia, UAE, Singapore, Turkey, Sri Lanka and Israel have invited her for inputs on Smart Governance. In 2018, Ms Gopal was invited by the Prime Minister of UAE to address their flagship event – World Government Summit at Dubai.

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan is the Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Minister of Steel, Government of India. He was first elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament, in 2012 to represent Bihar State. During his term, he has served as a member of the Parliamentary Committees on Rural Development, Government Assurances, and Agriculture. Previously, from 2004 to 2009, Mr. Pradhan was a member of the Lok Sabha, or lower house, representing the Deogarh constituency of the State of Odisha. He first entered public life as a member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Pradhan has worked on issues concerning youth, such as unemployment and a lack of skilled education, as well as the rehabilitation and resettlement of farmers, displaced persons and other backward classes. He has played a major role in mobilizing youth for politics and promoting better leadership. He enjoys studying history, politics, and changing social trends. Mr. Pradhan holds a post-graduate degree in Anthropology from Utkal University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Shri Sandeep Singh, also known by his nickname ‘Flicker Singh’, is an Indian hockey player and a former captain of the Indian national hockey team. He is considered to be one of the most dangerous drag-flickers in the world. As the captain, he has helped the national team win the 2009 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. Apart from the national team, he has also played for several clubs in the Australian and European leagues, as well as the Hockey India League. He is truly a man of steel, after an accident in 2006 which forced him off the field, he made a stunning comeback to the National team in 2008 and the rest is history. For his contribution to the sport and to the country, he was awarded the ‘Arjuna Award’ in 2010.He joined the Haryana Police as a DSP and served the nation both on and off the field. In 2019, he has started a new journey of being a lawmaker after winning the Pehowa constituency in Haryana. He continues to be a role model and an inspiration for the youth of India and stands tall in the league of “SOORMAS” of the nation.
Shri Manohar Lal Khattar is a Chief Minister of Haryana. He represents Karnal Constituency in Haryana Legislative Assembly. He was sworn-in as Chief Minister of Haryana after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s win in the 2014 Haryana Legislative Assembly Election. He was sworn in a second time as the Chief Minister on 27th October 2019.
In his tenure, he has announced all-woman police station in each district and also started a 24*7 online complaint portal called Harsamay. He has introduced e-services through Common Service Centres in the state. He has also taken steps to implement Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana Scheme that was flagged off by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. That helps to improve the child sex ratio in the state.
Merit-based recruitment policy, new road projects, submitting the proposal for launching Regional Rapid Rail transit services between Delhi-Gurgaon-Alwar and Delhi-Sonipat-Panipat are some of the initiatives that have been taken under his guidance.
After forming government in Haryana, all efforts are made to bring transparency, faith, and fairness in government. Since his tenure as Chief Minister, Haryana Government has been able to provide jobs to the youth of Haryana on the merit-based transparent recruitment policy which is a big success as compared to the previous governments.
Kanika Mittal is the Business Head of Twitter India.
An Alumnus of Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA), she started her career as Assistant Manager in Tata Teleservices Ltd. Her journey at reebok began in 2007 when she joined as assistant manager. She steadily moved up ranks by becoming brand manager in 2009, then senior brand manager in 2011 and finally marketing director in 2012, a role she held for nearly six years. Shri V. Umashankar is a 1993 batch Indian Administrative Service Officer of the Haryana cadre.
At present, he is the CEO of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). Over the career span of 24 years, he has garnered wide experience.
Shri V. Umashankar joined GMDA on October 31, 2016, as an officer on special duty, was made additional CEO on August 17, 2017. He has previously occupied the CEO’s chair from January to October 2018 and was then transferred to Chandigarh as the Additional Principal Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, in addition to being given the post of CEO,
Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran. He returns to the position of CEO of Gurugram
Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) in 2019.
He has previously served as commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, and was instrumental in shaping the GMDA’s vision for Gurugram. Flagship initiatives as such a comprehensive mobility plan for the city and the Gurugaman bus service were rolled out under his supervision. He was known as a capable administrator and a quick decision-maker.
Prior to being appointed the commissioner of the MCG, he served as a director in the Ministry of Human Resource Development for over one year. After this, he was appointed as private secretary to the Minister for Human Resource Development for over two years, from June 2010 till October 2012.
From March 2013 till October 2015, he served as joint secretary in the Department of Telecommunications. He also worked as joint secretary in the National Security Council Secretariat for a year till October 2016.

Ambassador Ron Malka is the present ambassador of Israel to India. He graduated in Economics and Business Administration from Bar Ilan University in 1990. Later, he completed MBA in Finance and Business Administration in 1994 and PhD in Economics in 2004.
Between 1983 and 2007, he was in military service from where he retired with the rank of Full Colonel. During this time, he served 9 years in the IDF Intelligence Corporation and for 16 years held managerial positions in the Chief of Staff’s Financial Advisory Unit.
From 2008-2016 he was Senior Lecturer on Banking, Economics and Capital Markets at Interdisciplinary Center, Herziya and The Academic Center, Netanya. From 2016-2018 he served as the Dean of the School of Financial Markets and Banking at the Academic Center of Law and Business.
Ambassador Malka provided financial advice and guidance to companies and institutions in the Israeli market, and international companies in public and private projects. In addition, he served as economic advisor to the Prime Minister’s commission to review the defence budget.
He served as a Director (2008-2014) and Acting Chairman in the Board of Directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) (2013-2014). In addition, he was Member of the Finance and Budget Committee, TASE between 2009 and 2014. He has served as Chairman in Investment Committee, Audit and Financial Reports Committee in TASE.
From 2013 to 2018, he served as Director and Chairman of Investments, the ROM Fund (Municipal Employees) and Director and Chairman of the audit committee in SHABA- Automated Banking Services. Also, he was Director and Investment Chairman of AGUR, a company which manages advanced training funds for post-primary teachers.
Samir Saran is the President of the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), and Chair of CyFy: The India Conference on Technology, Security and Society.
He is co-founder and the curator of the Raisina Dialogue, India’s premier platform on geopolitics and geoeconomics.
Samir is a commissioner on The Global Commission for the stability of Cyberspace, an international multi-stakeholder body working to discover and detail the norms and rules that will help in managing cyber regimes implicating international security.
He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Geopolitics and member of its South Asia Advisory Board where he consults on digital and tech sector issues.

Dr Mario Voigt is a German Politician and a member of the Thuringian Parliament since the year 2009. He is also working as a professor for digital transformation and politics at Quadriga University of Applied Sciences, Berlin (Germany).
He became a member of the Junge Union and the Christain Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) in 1994. He was the first East German federal chairman of the Ring of Christian Democratic Students (RCDS). Since 2008 he has been the deputy district chairman of the Christain Democratic Union of Germany CDU Saale-Holzland-Kreis. He was a deputy member of the executive committee of the European People’s Party (EPP) from the year 2002-2009. Later on, he was appointed as a national chairman of the Junge Union Thuringen for the year 2005-2010.

He teaches as a professor at Quadriga University since 2017 and research alongside his political mandate. Smt Poonam Mahajan is a Member of Parliament from Mumbai’s North Central Constituency. She is also appointed as President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha and the President of the Basketball Federation of India.

Under Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) Scheme, Poonam Ji has already recommended works amounting to 4.03 crores and a sum of 2.49 crore has been released so far. The recommended work includes the construction of toilets for women, shelters on walkways, schools and libraries.
Like her father, she is committed to working with NGOs. She has been actively involved in social work through NGOs like Pramod Mahajan Pratishthan and Tapasvi Public Charitable Trust.
Smt Poonam is part of the Parliamentary standing committee on Urban Development, part of the consultative committee on finance and corporate affairs (where she raised her views on GST and Jan Suraksha Yojana), and a member of the committee of private member bills and resolutions. Apart from which, She is also on the board of NIFT directors and is the President of the Maharashtra State Basketball Association.
Shri Anurag Thakur is the Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs. He was first elected in a by-poll from Hamirpur Constituency (Himachal Pradesh) in May 2008. He has won the Loksabha elections in 2009, 2014 and 2019. He is one of the youngest Parliamentarians in India today and received the Best Young Parliamentarian Award in 2011.
He was also appointed as the president of the All India Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) for the period of 2010-2016. During his tenure, he has led a march under the banner of “Rashtriya Ekta Yatra” from Kolkata to Srinagar in January 2011.
Besides, being elected Loksabha MP, he is one of India’s most accomplished sports administrators. His areas of interest also focus on the development of sports, promotion of social and cultural values, children’s welfare and youth development. Anurag Ji is also the Founder of the Honour Our Women (HOW) Foundation, an initiative that works for creating social awareness about women’s issues, safety and empowerment through seminars, and street plays. It is also the platform that involves various civil society, stakeholders, celebrities, journalist and parliamentarians to come together and work for a cause.
Anurag Ji was also elected BCCI president from May 2016 to February 2017. He became the second-youngest man to lead the Indian board, second to Fatehsinghrao Gaekwad.
Anurag Ji has also been a cricketer and played a Ranji trophy match against Jammu & Kashmir in 2000. He was also instrumental in setting up the international cricket stadium at Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh.
In his career at the BCCI, he was popular for being the first cricketer to have made his first-class debut after taking over as president of the state cricket association (Himachal Pradesh) in July 2000.
AnuragJi became the first serving BJP Member of Parliament to become a regular commissioned officer in the Territorial Army.
Shri Hardeep Singh Puri is a Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1974.
During a career span of 39 years, he served in senior positions at the Ministries of External Affairs and Defense. He also held ambassadorial level posts in the United Kingdom, Brazil and served as Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations both in Geneva and New York. He had earlier served in India’s Missions in Tokyo and Colombo. He has been described as the keen debater and vocal about his views and opinions.
He has extensive experience in multilateral diplomacy. He served on three occasions as a member of India’s delegation to the GATT/United Nations in Geneva including as Ambassador and Permanent Representative from 2002 to 2005. He has had a long association with and specialization in trade policy-related matters and served on several Dispute Settlement Panels of the GATT and WTO.
He was President of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) in August 2011 and November 2012 and Chairman of the United Nations Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee (UNSCC-TC) in 2011- 2012. He retired from the Indian Foreign Service on 28 February 2013 and joined the International Peace Institute (IPI), New York, a non-profit think tank with headquarters in New York and offices in Vienna and Manama. He was Senior Adviser from June to December 2013. Later on, he was appointed as Vice-president of the IPI and Secretary-General of the Independent Commission on Multilateralism (ICM). He left the IPI on 31 March 2016.
He has authored many books, articles, papers and also delivered numerous public lectures on the area he has experience and worked.
